Throughout much of my adult life, I grappled with the challenge of managing my weight, and the impact it had on my emotional well-being was profound. I found myself in a constant state of dissatisfaction with my appearance, yearning for the confidence and comfort that would come with feeling at home in my own body. I explored various diets and approaches, including reducing food intake, counting calories, and ramping up my exercise routine. I experimented with well-known programs like Weight Watchers, meal replacement shakes, hCG, and Bright Line Eating, all in the pursuit of finding a sustainable solution.

 

Each time I embarked on a new diet, I did so with a glimmer of hope, imagining that "this time, things will be different." While there were initial positive results as the pounds dropped, there was also a significant toll to bear. The persistent feelings of hunger and deprivation left me feeling irritable and drained, despite the invigorating sensation of watching my clothes become too big and indulging in the pleasure of shopping for more petite, flattering outfits.

But that’s not the worst part.

 

The worst part is that when I went off each diet, I’d continue eating healthy but I gave myself more wiggle room with what I ate and how much. And that’s when the weight came back on… every_single_ time! Maybe you can relate and know how defeating this is. 


My low point was a few months after the last restrictive diet I followed… when I realized that I had gained all the weight back and THEN some. 
 

That’s when I decided that there HAD to be a better way. 

I made it my life’s work to study the real science about food and nutrition and learn why I was struggling for so many years - and I learned how to heal my metabolism so I could not only lose the weight, but keep it off for good.
